1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Floorpln (“Service”), operated by Floorpln (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Floorpln at www.floorpln.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Floorpln is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) tool that generates draft-level residential floor plan concepts based on user-provided parameters. The Service produces PDF, PNG, and CAD (DXF) files and offers an optional interactive 3D preview.

3. Account and Access

Floorpln does not require account registration to generate or preview floor plans. However, downloading output files requires a one-time or subscription payment processed via Stripe. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any access credentials or payment methods you use.

Access to downloads is granted through browser local storage flags set after verified payment. We reserve the right to revoke access if we detect fraud, chargebacks, or abuse.

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1 Pricing

• Standard ($4.99 one-time) — PDF, PNG, and DXF downloads for all 3 variations from one session.
• Standard + 3D ($9.99 one-time) — All Standard features plus interactive 3D preview.
• Pro Monthly ($29/mo) — Unlimited downloads per session, commercial license, no 3D.
• Pro+ Monthly ($59/mo) — Everything in Pro plus 3D on every plan.

4.2 Refund Policy

One-time purchases: Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if no files have been downloaded. Once files are downloaded, the sale is final. Monthly subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial months, except where required by law.

4.3 Billing

All prices are in USD. Subscription payments are charged monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date. We use Stripe for all payment processing.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You own the floor plan concepts generated from your specific inputs. You may use, share, modify, and incorporate Floorpln-generated floor plans into client proposals, design documents, and related materials, subject to the license terms below.

5.2 License by Tier

• Free tier: Personal and professional preview only. No commercial redistribution.
• Standard / Standard+3D ($4.99/$9.99): Personal and professional use. May be included in client proposals and presentations. May not be resold or sublicensed.
• Pro / Pro+ Monthly: Commercial use license. May be used in client-facing materials, contractor proposals, real estate listings, and internal business documents. May not be resold as standalone floor plan products.

5.3 Floorpln IP

The Floorpln brand, software, generation algorithm, API, and website content are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or create derivative works of the Floorpln software or algorithm.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Floorpln to:

• Generate plans for illegal structures or uses.
• Submit plans to government agencies or contractors as architect-stamped or engineer-reviewed documents.
• Misrepresent output as fully engineered or code-compliant drawings.
• Attempt to bypass rate limiting, payment verification, or other security measures.
• Scrape, harvest, or automate usage of the Service beyond its intended use.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT FLOOR PLANS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR COMPLIANT WITH ANY BUILDING CODE OR REGULATION. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOORPLN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY FLOOR PLAN OUTPUT.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF FLOORPLN SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT FLOOR PLANS ARE DRAFT-LEVEL CONCEPTS ONLY AND THAT USING THEM FOR CONSTRUCTION, PERMITTING, OR STRUCTURAL DECISIONS WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL REVIEW IS SOLELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Floorpln and its officers, directors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or misuse of generated floor plans.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms, engages in fraud, or creates an unreasonable burden on our systems. Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time via their payment method's subscription management.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida, or through binding arbitration at our election.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes affecting paid users, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email.
